Project Based Learning

PBL1

What is Project-Based Learning?

Project-based learning is a student-centered and interdisciplinary approach to learning. Students begin with an inquiry question and then decide how they will design their study, gather their information and present their learning. Some key components of project-based learning are;

  • Choice
  • Teamwork
  • Embedding technology and learning

Inquiry for the Future

  • Employers now and in the future are seeking individuals with strong research skills, teamwork ability, problem solving skills, and presentation skills.
  • This program will be most suited for students who enjoy learning through inquiry and projects, rather than teacher-led activities.

Any grade 8 or 9 students interested in applying need to see Ms. Hamel.  Any grade 10, 11, or 12 students interested need to contact Mr. Bordeleau.  We need a few more applicants to make this happen.
