Welcome to Counselling at Prince George Secondary School!
The PGSS Counselling office welcomes students to drop into the office before school, during class breaks or after school or during a study period to make appointments or browse through the information files. Pamphlets on a variety of topics, as well as post-secondary calendars, are available.

School Counsellors - What can they help with?
- Act as a liaison between the elementary, junior secondary and senior secondary schools
- Help new students in their orientation to the school
- Act as a liaison between students, their families and community agencies
- Help students find solutions to persona and school-related problems
- Help students decide on appropriate programs and courses
- Give career information and guidance to students
- Give post-secondary educational guidance to senior students
- Arrange for special testing at the request of the student, teacher or parents
- Arrange parent conferences

Health Nurse Visits
Wendy Bergman & Laura Ewart are the Health Nurses for PGSS.
They visit each Tuesday 9:30 am -11:30 am.
Students may book appointments in the Counselling office.
